In tiny villages in Thailand, artist studios in Bali, textile art communities in India, multi generational carpet makers in Afghanistan and Egypt, they find or design and then buy the beauty of the world expressed as artful objects. Then, later - who knows when? - excitement rises as big, mysterious crates from the other side of the planet arrive at the store in Ukiah. As each object is pulled from its packing, fond memories return of the place, the artists and friends who made them, followed by the new delight of sharing them with you.
